Executive Team

Hillcrest Family Services accomplishes its mission through the work of over 370 staff people and hundreds of volunteers who fill a large variety of roles.

The operation of the agency is guided by the efforts of a four-member Executive Team who invite you to contact them at any time with your comments, questions, or concerns.

	Gary Gansemer, President/CEO gary.gansemer@hillcrest-fs.org The President/CEO is responsible for the overall vision, direction, and operation of Hillcrest Family Services.
	Julie Heiderscheit, Vice President of Human Development julie.heiderscheit@hillcrest-fs.org The Vice President of Human Development oversees administration of all direct program services and Human Resources.
	Carol Jefferson, Vice President of Mission Advancement carol.jefferson@hillcrest-fs.org Carol joined Hillcrest Family Services from the University of Iowa Foundation. She served as Executive Director of Development for the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center in Iowa City, for the past 12 years. Prior to moving to Iowa, Carol was the Executive Director for the Capitol Chapter March of Dimes in Madison, Wisconsin and before that was the Director of Development for the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center. Throughout her career she has been involved with major gift and planned giving fundraising, campaign planning and management.
	Michael Luedtke, Vice President of Finance/CFO michael.luedtke@hillcrest-fs.org The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for providing stability and expertise in the daily financial operations and the budget planning and monitoring of all funds of Hillcrest Family Services. He also provides supervision and direction to the business office and maintenance needs of the agency.
