Family Life Center Initiative
Through a transformational process, The Hillcrest Family Life Campus will fulfill our commitment to clients, families, staff and the community, through the building of a combined Spiritual Life Center/Multi-Purpose Recreational Center.
The Chapel/Rec Center will be a visible sign of Hillcrest’s long-standing relationship as a faith-connected agency. As a special ministry of both the United Methodist Church and the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Spiritual Life Center will be a gathering place for all Hillcrest clients, staff and community. The Spiritual Life Center will assist the Hillcrest Chaplain in providing worship services for residential clients, as well as staff. Many of the people we serve have not been exposed to any spiritual development prior to coming to Hillcrest. Of course, clients are free to choose whether or not they will participate, but most do want to explore this domain. This center will offer a true Opportunity for a Spiritual Connection.
Private Prayer Moments: This facility will also provide a "sacred space" for clients and staff to pray and reflect upon the mission in which we are called.
