Pregnancy Counseling
Hillcrest Family Services is here to help! We are dedicated to helping you make an informed decision to ensure that you are making the best decision not only for your baby, but also for yourself.
An unbiased, non-judgmental pregnancy counselor will meet with you and your partner (if involved) as much as necessary.
This is FREE of charge and completely confidential.
ADOPTION IS AN OPTION
Hillcrest Family Services is a licensed child-placing agency. Your counselor will explain and explore the different types of domestic adoption and adoption laws. If an adoption plan is desired, your counselor will help you in selecting the family for your child. We want to make sure that you, the birth parent, have every wish and desire met. Your counselor will partner with you to help determine the continuing relationship after the adoption is finalized.
PARENTING IS AN OPTION
Parenting is a full-time job and can be a very exciting. If you do choose to parent your child, Hillcrest will help you be aware of resources that can help you parent successfully. This is a challenging journey and we want you to be completely comfortable and ready to begin parenting your child.
A social worker is available to provide counseling and information to you throughout your pregnancy.
Counseling is free of charge and usually includes the following:
- Help creating a plan for parenting or making an adoption plan for your child.
- Supportive counseling after the birth or placement of your child
- Help locating medical, financial and other supportive services
