Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are critical to the success of our Bowl For Kids’ Sake. We appreciate your willingness to serve and to be flexible to work any area you are assigned to. Listed are the major areas volunteers are assigned to. Volunteers are asked to arrive at the bowling center fifteen minutes prior to the start of your requested shift. Please check in at the table marked Volunteer Check In to receive your assignment, t-shirt and nametag.

Set Up Prior to the first session of the event day. Responsible for setting up tables, chairs, t-shirts, supplies, etc.
Registration Help check in bowlers giving each a program and lane assignment.
T-shirts Distribute t-shirts to each Bowl for Kids’ Sake participant and volunteer.
Shoes Assist bowling center in distribution of bowling shoes to Bowl For Kids Sake participants.
Prize Patrol Distribute prizes to bowlers based on the dollars raised by the bowler.
Raffle Tickets Sell raffle tickets for a large prize to be announced at the end of all Bowl for Kids’ Sake sessions for that region.
Photographer and Assistant Photograph and record teams during each bowling session.
Runners Run errands throughout the bowling center.
Clean Up Break down registration, t-shirt area, food tables, etc. Help load for delivery back to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
